  non irritating, nice matte but mousse-y hydration

  I like the ingredients in this moisturizer, especially the coenzyme q10 and the collagen. The cream did not irritate my dry and slightly sensitive skin and it did keep my skin tacky and moist for at least 4 hours at a time, which is pretty good for my climate! I cannot tell how effective this is over the long term, but I think this will be easy for me to use for a long time as my daytime moisturizer.Experience wise this jar is refillable so it is easy to accidentally disassemble it, but I have found that this is common for many beauty products that I buy now, so it does not bother me and I would much prefer to have a refillable product than to avoid this. The packaging is pretty and looks fairly expensive. The cream is a pretty thick and it has a strong citrus smell with an herbal note. I like it because I like citrus and this smells natural to me. The smell dissipates quickly and is clearly not a perfume or synthetic fragrance. I like that this is made in the USA. Value wise it is a little spendy is probably the only reason I might not order this again.

  A moisturizer full of incredible ingredients that will make your skin glow.

  The Codeage Maison Rouge Brightening Face Cream was quite a delight to use. I found the cream light enough to call a lotion personally, as usually creams are too thick for anything but jars. I also did not notice a scent. Important ingredients are glutathione, vitamins c and e, collagen peptides, coenzyme Q10 and various oils such as jojoba. This is a plethora of awesome ingredients that I was pleased to see that my sensitive skin did not react to and it gives my skin a subtle glow. Usually when there is such a large mixture of different ingredients, my skin freaks out, but not so in this case. The cream is also cruelty free as well as free of fragrances, sulfates, parabens and more. It is truly a fantastic moisturizer. One thing that bothers me is that due to it being refillable (the refills are available on the Codeage official website for ten dollars less, but not on Dropy), the packaging is not secure and the inner round plastic tube slides out of the base every single time I use it. I think that if you are going to pay $69.99 for skincare, that the packaging should not fall apart while you are using it. Sliding it back together is easy but a nuisance. If this issue were to be fixed, it would be a much more pleasing experience. Either way, I think it is a great moisturizer with a spectacular formula, but the packaging needs work. Is it worth the price? In this case, if you can afford it, you will love it, but if you can't, there are plenty of great ones that cost less and I don't think you will miss this one.

  Love this - bought the refill

  I've seen this cream at Nordstrom's and Macy's so I felt safe ordering it. Knowing that higher end dept stores are selling this added to its credibility. It doesn't hurt I've also heard and read very good things about their supplements. This brand, Codeage, has a store here on Dropy full of a huge array of supplements.I love this cream. I've been looking for a moisturizer that doubles as a lightener. I've been using this for approximately a week, so I don't see any remarkable changes in my hyperpigmentation. In defense of this brand, I have severe sun damage (sun spots), so I'm not expecting a miracle. But I love that it's dual-purposed. My 60-year-old skin absorbs this well after I'd say approximately 30 sec to 1 min. That's the amount of time I wait before applying SPF or makeup (or both). My skin feels amazing afterwards and I'm excited to see results. This contains Collagen, Vitamins, and CoQ10. I've had great success with the latter addition. It does have a slightly "citrus-like medicinal" scent which dissipates quickly.I received this through Dropy Vine at a discounted price in exchange for my review. The full price here on Dropy and elsewhere (including the brand's retail site) is not cheap - 1.7 oz retails for just under $70. However, a really great feature is the refill option here on Dropy for just under $50. It's the same amount, 1.7 oz. I do like the sustainable option which includes the recyclable box in which this comes.I just bought the refill, on my own (not through Vine). My only complaint is it isn't available through Dropy's Subscribe and Save program. (The original container is). But I'm still happy to buy the refill for $20 less.
