FAQs
Do subs hit harder in a ported box?
Yes, subwoofers generally deliver greater output and harder-hitting bass in a ported enclosure compared to a sealed box. The vented port design leverages internal air routing to reinforce low-frequency response, providing deeper bass notes at the same amplifier wattage.
What size is the box for 8 inch woofer?
This specific Facmogu enclosure measures 230mm by 230mm by 215mm, which translates to approximately 9.05 inches by 9.05 inches by 8.46 inches. It features a pre-cut mounting hole diameter of 184mm or 7.24 inches, making it ideal for standard single eight-inch subwoofers.
Which enclosure is best for a subwoofer?
The best enclosure depends on your specific audio preferences. A ported or vented box is ideal if you prefer maximum volume, high efficiency, and deep, booming bass. A sealed box is better if you prioritize tight, highly accurate, and compact sound reproduction.
Is this Facmogu subwoofer box an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a 100% authentic USA-imported product. Dropy India sources genuine premium car audio accessories directly from trusted suppliers in the United States, ensuring Indian car audio enthusiasts receive original international quality components.
Does the enclosure come with internal acoustic damping material?
Yes, the package includes high-quality sound-absorbing cotton featuring a strong adhesive backing. This damping material helps muffle internal standing waves, prevents displacement during heavy bass vibrations, and significantly improves overall sound clarity.
