Product details

The Scosche SE69KT 6x9 Car Audio Speaker Sub Box is a premium acoustic enclosure designed for automotive enthusiasts who demand exceptional sound clarity and deep bass response. Engineered specifically for standard six by nine inch speakers and subwoofers, this single enclosure box optimizes audio performance in cars, trucks, and recreational vehicles.

Crafted from high grade, half inch thick Medium Density Fiberboard, it minimizes structural resonance, acoustic vibrations, and rattling even under heavy audio loads. The interior features a poly fiber damper lining to eliminate unwanted internal sound distortions, while the exterior is wrapped in an original equipment manufacturer quality gray carpet trunk liner that seamlessly blends with your vehicle interior.

For effortless setup, the innovative flat pack design arrives pre cut and pre drilled, assembling in minutes with a standard screwdriver. Pre installed airtight industrial sealant removes the need for messy glues, and internally pre wired nickel plated spring terminals ensure a strong, reliable signal connection for your custom car audio upgrade.

  1. Unpack the flat-pack enclosure panels carefully.
  2. Align the pre-cut and pre-drilled Medium Density Fiberboard panels along the dado-cut edges.
  3. Use a standard Phillips screwdriver to secure the pieces together using the included mounting screws, ensuring the pre-installed airtight sealant compresses firmly.
  4. Connect your 6x9 inch car speaker or subwoofer wires to the internal terminals, mount the speaker into the pre-cut opening, and connect your amplifier output to the external nickel-plated spring terminals.

FAQs

Do 6x9 speakers improve sound quality?

Yes, 6x9 speakers significantly improve sound quality by providing a larger surface area than smaller door speakers. This allows them to deliver punchier bass, richer mid-range frequencies, and better overall audio depth.

What 6x9 speaker is best for bass?

Does this speaker box require wood glue during assembly?

No, this enclosure does not require messy wood glue. It features an innovative design with pre-installed airtight industrial sealant along the joints, allowing you to achieve a perfect seal using just a screwdriver.
