Product details

The Ruffwear Climate Changer Fleece Dog Jacket in Basalt Gray provides reliable core warmth for outdoor adventures and cold weather walks. Crafted from premium 260-gram 100% recycled polyester fleece, this technical jacket features an anti-pilling finish that maintains its soft texture and insulating power through rugged play and repeated washing.

Designed specifically for active dogs, the sleeved silhouette incorporates articulated shoulder joints to allow natural movement without shifting, twisting, or bunching up around the legs. A full-length YKK Vislon zipper with an integrated fur guard ensures effortless step-in dressing, making it a stress-free option for puppies, anxious pets, or senior dogs with stiff joints.

For maximum outdoor versatility, the jacket includes front and back soft portals for easy leash attachment to a harness or collar underneath, alongside reflective trim and a safety beacon light loop for enhanced visibility during early morning or evening strolls.

  1. Unzip the jacket completely.
  2. Unfold the fleece coat and guide your dog's front paws into the articulated sleeves.
  3. Wrap the jacket snugly around the chest and torso, then pull the fur guard flat before zipping up along the side.
  4. Connect your leash through either the front or rear portal depending on your harness setup.
  5. Secure all fasteners before machine washing in cold water on a gentle cycle, then line dry.
