The Ruffwear Crag Ex Leash in Alpine Dawn is a highly versatile, adjustable reflective dog lead engineered for everyday walks, trail running, and outdoor adventures with your canine companion. Crafted with durable, colorfast Tubelok webbing, this multi-functional leash easily transitions between a traditional hand-held lead and a comfortable waist-worn hands-free system using an intuitive side-release buckle reinforced with an aluminum uniloop.

An integrated ergonomic metal slider allows pet parents to seamlessly adjust the length from a compact 3.5 feet for tight crowd control up to 6 feet for relaxed exploration. Equipped with a strong swiveling Talon Clip for a secure harness or collar connection, a cushioned handle for maximum hand comfort, and a built-in accessory loop to attach waste bags or small clip-on gear, this premium USA-imported leash provides superior safety and adaptability during early morning or evening outings.

    Great features, very versatile.

Nice leash, great features. I like the features a lot, makes the leash much more usable and versatile than other leashes. Adjusts easily to be waist worn or full length. I like the clip, which is big enough to fit around the leash so you can loop it like a purse for easy carrying when you don't have it on your dog. Pretty design. Definitely not as thick of webbing as the ones we purchased 10 years ago from ruffwear (leash is thinner). But it's fine, just don't let your dog chew on it or they'll go through (but really, dogs can chew through almost any leash in minutes). Other than the leash not being too thick, all hardware seems solid and good quality. I

    I love this waist leash!

This is the second one of these that I have purchased and used. The first one was starting to show a little wear but nothing that I wouldn't expect after 4-5 years of use with a large dog and lots of walking. I like that once I put it on, the leash is only about 4' long and I can control either of my dogs (separately, it's too short for 2 dogs at a time) well on that length leash. I like being hands free when not having to do something to control her. Both my dogs can go between my waist leash and a regular 6' leash that my wife uses without issues. This belt has reflectivity built into it and it is very well built and sturdy. The only plastic part is the buckle for my waist. The other parts are metal. The belts are all double stitched with care. I find that I just can't walk both my dogs at the same time as their always competing with each other and jumping over each other and they start pulling too hard. This product is made well and will last for quite a while.

    Would Recommend for Non-Pullers!

Perfect for a dog who doesn't pull. Love how it keeps my hands free, especially for training purposes. Really like the design of the click, much easier to use than the traditional style. The quality is well made, although I wouldn't recommend letting your pups chew on them. I'd definitely say it's durable for everyday use but my pup chewed on it a bit the first time we used it and the edges started to fray. Little land sharks haha
