Product details

Protect your vehicle seats from muddy paws, shedding fur, and wet adventures with the Ruffwear Dirtbag Dog Car Seat Cover in Basalt Gray. Crafted from heavy-duty 300D recycled polyester, this durable backseat protector is completely waterproof to shield your car, SUV, or truck interior from everyday pet messes.

The versatile convertible design easily shifts between a secure hammock configuration and a standard bench seat, maintaining seamless access to seatbelts via integrated two-way zippered slots. Designed with your dog's comfort and safety in mind, it features a built-in center mesh window that promotes airflow and enhances visibility to help reduce travel anxiety on long journeys.

The combination of stuffer cleats, webbing headrest loops, and a tacky non-slip backing locks the cover firmly in place, even on leather seats. Machine washable and built for the active outdoors, this travel essential ensures your vehicle stays clean while your pup rides securely.

  1. Unfold the seat cover and drape it over the back seat of your car, SUV, or truck.
  2. Secure the webbing loops around the headrests and push the stuffer cleats into the seat crease to anchor the cover.
  3. Zip or unzip the integrated access slots for seatbelt buckles, and adjust between bench or hammock configurations as needed.
  4. To clean, remove straps and machine wash on a gentle cycle, or shake out loose dirt and wipe down with a damp cloth.

Made with durable 300D recycled polyester fabric, waterproof finish, tacky thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) non-slip backing, nylon webbing straps, and reinforced mesh window panels.

Fits a 2 door Jeep JK perfectly

Heavy duty and well made. The position of the headrest straps makes it fit tighter than any other one I have tried. The only con is the seatbelt holes. The snaps are kinda weak.

    Excellent one year later

I've had this for a year now. It is durable, has pretty good seat coverage on the side if you re-tuck it in regularly, and washes well. It still looks brand new a year later. The seat belt cutouts are good. They have an extra insert which snaps closed to keep dirt out and stops the seat belt release from getting accidentally pressed by a paw. Good quality, very happy I went with this cover. I've used a lot of different covers over the years and this is by far the best in both design and quality.

    The perfect seat cover!

I wish I would have bought this sooner! Got this for my 2013 Ford Escape and it fits perfect. Seat anchors go deep and the material doesn't slide, ensuring consistent protection. A zipper pocket to hold accessories and mesh in the middle so your dog can still see you/get ACC makes this a well thought out design. Super water resistant and durable for all of my GSD and I's outdoor adventures!
