Product details

The Ruffwear Flagline Dog Leash is a lightweight, versatile hands-free lead engineered for active pet parents and their canine companions. Crafted from climbing-inspired polyester webbing, this 6.5-foot dog lead offers exceptional strength without adding unnecessary bulk or weight.

Designed for maximum flexibility during daily walks, trail runs, and outdoor hikes, it features a side-release buckle that seamlessly transitions the leash from a standard handheld lead to an adjustable waist-worn belt. Equipped with an anodized aluminum lockable Crux Clip, it provides a low-profile, secure attachment to your dog's harness or collar.

A built-in, low-profile stash pocket keeps waste pickup bags conveniently within reach. When not in use, the minimal, colorfast webbing packs down small for effortless storage in a jacket or backpack pocket.

  1. Adjust the side-release buckle around your waist for hands-free use, or keep it short to use as a standard handheld lead.
  2. Attach the lockable Crux Clip to your dog's collar or harness connection point, twisting the mechanism to lock it securely.
  3. Hand wash with mild detergent and air dry as needed.

Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum Crux Clip, Tubelok Polyester Webbing, Side-Release Buckle Hardware.

    Good hands off leash

Excellent quality, long enough to use around my waist. I have 2 small dogs and we do 3 to 6 miles a day. With psoriasis on the palms of my hands, being able to use the waist option is very nice.

    Best leash ever

Amazing leash! The ability to quickly switch to waist strap is perfectly implemented. The length is great. I bought a second for the office.

FAQs

What is a Ruffwear Flagline dog lead?

The Ruffwear Flagline Dog Lead is an ultra-lightweight, 6.5-foot multi-use leash designed for hiking, running, and daily walking. It features a hands-free waist option, climbing-inspired webbing, a lockable attachment clip, and a built-in waste bag stash pocket.

What is the safest dog leash clasp?

Lockable carabiner-style clasps, like the anodized aluminum Crux Clip used on Ruffwear leashes, are considered among the safest options. They prevent accidental unclipping caused by twisting or sudden pulling during outdoor activities.

How do you use a Ruffwear hands-free leash?

Simply unbuckle the side-release clip near the handle, adjust the webbing around your waist, and snap the buckle closed to secure it. Attach the lockable clip to your dog's harness or collar for hands-free walking or running.

Are Ruffwear products bought on Dropy India authentic USA imports?

Yes, all Ruffwear products available on Dropy India are 100% authentic and directly imported from the USA. Dropy sources directly to ensure pet owners receive genuine high-performance outdoor dog gear.
