    Great for old dogs!

    I was looking for something to help my elderly Wire Haired Fox Terrier. He has degenerative myelopathy and struggles on most surfaces to grip and it has been heartbreaking watching him fall and lose his balance so often. He also drags his rear paws and has worn the nails to the quick where they bleed. Rufus only weighs 8.5kgs and his paws are small. I measured according to the directions and went ahead and ordered the smallest size, 1.5in. Boots arrived and are exactly as pictured. I put them on Rufus's rear paws and cinched the velcro tight and he was fine from the get go. Rufus has grip and his hind legs are held firm on the ground, even inside on the polished wood floor. Really pleased so far and Rufus seems not to be bothered with them at all. Great purchase, well worth the money paid to see my little dog upright and not struggling to walk!

    The ruffware dog shoes with profile

    Ruffware makes always good quality products. Also this dog booths /shoes. I have the red version. There are oalso a black version available.This dog shoes have a good profile on the bottom. That makes them perfect for hiking whit your dog. You can you use them also with normal walks. It protect the dogs paws. By hot weather, when the roads and side walks are hotI use also the ruffware dog socks. It give you dog more comfort, and it helps you to get the shoe easier on.

    Fits pocket bully perfectly 10/10!

    Finally. A shoe that fits and actually stays on my pocket bully's large, splayed & knuckles dragging feet. Amazing, 10/10. I now know paying a little extra was more than worth it. Especially given all the money we've spent on useless ones that try to mimic these, with zero success. OMGosh Thank you Thank You Thank You Ruffwear.

    Best shoes ever

    We hike every day and, in the southwest mountains, it gets really hot and there are often red ants on trails.Unlike the other dogs in our pack, she wears these and has never been bitten. She is able to freely move and maintains traction on various terrain.They are really easy to use, getting on and off. We haven't tested the waterproof function, but these feel very durable and despite running in circles, playing, and hiking the grip is still new, months later.The only thing I would change is to make them more breathable--it gets hot during the summer and her paws are very sweaty after using. Dust from trails gets inside, so I would question the waterproof ability.Make sure they are on flat and tight. They haven't fallen off except during our first use.Tip to help them get used to the shoes: immediately after putting them on start playing with their favorite toy. We put the toy away for a few days and pulled it out once the shoes were on. She instantly forgot about the shoes and started running and walking normally.Unlike Mukluks, these don't have a natural feel sole, so they feel weird to the dog. Playing helps them go over that before they form an opinion about them. She associates the shoes with fun times and adventures.
