Product details

The Ruffwear Ridgeline Dog Collar is a high-performance daily pet accessory designed for quick gear-ups and outdoor adventures. Built with lightweight yet strong silicone-dipped polyester webbing, this collar offers built-in reflectivity to keep your pet clearly visible during low-light evening walks or early morning runs in urban or trail environments.

The standout feature is its innovative Fidlock magnetic buckle, which automatically self-aligns and securely clicks into place with one-handed ease, making fitting simple even when wearing gloves or managing an energetic dog. Designed with pet safety and long-term comfort in mind, the collar incorporates a heavy-duty aluminum V-ring for a stable leash connection point that withstands pulling.

Tag management is made effortless and noise-free with a dedicated separate ID attachment loop complete with a silicone silencer to eliminate distracting jingling sounds. A low-profile 3-bar adjuster maintains a custom fit across the 14 to 20 inch neck size range while keeping excess webbing flat against your dog's coat.

Ideal for pet parents seeking reliable USA-imported adventure gear.

  1. Adjust the low-bulk 3-bar slide to properly fit your dog's neck, ensuring two fingers fit comfortably between the neck and collar.
  2. Guide the magnetic buckle ends close together until they automatically snap locked.
  3. To release, press the release mechanism on the buckle.
  4. Attach your leash directly to the aluminum V-ring and clip ID tags onto the separate silicone-silenced tag ring.

FAQs

What collars are good for dogs that slip out?

Collars that fit securely without loose webbing slack, such as properly fitted adjustable collars with secure buckling mechanisms, help prevent slipping. Ensuring a precise neck measurement and adjusting the 3-bar adjuster tightly prevents dogs from backing out of their gear.

How does the magnetic buckle work on the Ridgeline collar?

The collar utilizes specialized Fidlock hardware that automatically attracts and self-aligns using magnets. Once aligned, it clicks locked mechanically to keep your dog secure until manually released.

Is the reflective webbing visible in low-light conditions?

Yes, the silicone-dipped polyester webbing includes integrated reflective properties that catch streetlight and headlight illumination, boosting your pet's safety during evening walks.
