    Keeps my dog cool

Bought a Velcro wrap earlier this summer and the Velcro frayed pretty quickly. Bought this one to replace it and works very well! I have a large, 110 lb dog and bought the XL, fits a little loose.

Stays cool for a good length of time

It cools great and we got an XL which is loose and allows airflow to keep it cool… during a long day in hot weather I've refreshed it 2-3 times!!! Love the color!! We love all of ruffwear items and are purchasing a cooling vest as well!!

Life saver for my little pup!

Bought the XXS for my 8lbs poodle, she loves it! It's not too tight or too loose. She doesn't try to paw it off. She wags her tail when I'm getting it ready. Stays cool/wet for a long time! Our apartment get very warm so this is a life saver. I have one for home and one for going out. It seems to calm her, almost a comforting thing. Very pleased with the purchase and have recommended it to my dog friends!

seems to do the trick and the dog tolerates it

we have had a few hot days already and for walks in the city in the afternoon, i wear a neck fan but the dog had nothing equivalent: this cooling neck gaiter is very easy to use, stays cold for several hours and is easily cooled again simply by running water on it. Our dog tolerates it well.P.s hes a 16 lb shih tzu and we use the extra small XS

FAQs

How does the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Neck Gaiter work?

The neck gaiter utilizes evaporative cooling technology. Its absorbent core layer holds water, which pulls body surface heat away from your dog as it gradually evaporates, keeping them cool in hot weather.

Is the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Neck Gaiter safe for dogs?

Yes, it is made from non-toxic, pet-safe materials and dyes. The lightweight stretch fabric ensures comfortable wear without restricting breathing or movement.

How do you recharge the cooling effect?

When the gaiter dries out, simply soak it in cold water again, wring out any excess water, and put it back on your dog to restart the evaporative cooling process.
