Product details

The Ruffwear Chain Reaction Dog Collar is a high-performance martingale-style collar engineered for dogs prone to slipping or backing out of traditional collars. Combining durable Tubelok webbing with integrated reflective threads, this collar ensures optimal low-light visibility during early morning or late-evening walks.

It features a short section of heavy-duty stainless steel chain that provides a limited-cinch control mechanism alongside a subtle audible cue for effective, gentle training. Designed with versatile dual attachment points, pet owners can connect a leash to the stainless steel O-ring for limited-cinch control or use the anodized aluminum V-ring as a standard daily collar.

An independent ID attachment point with a Quick Ring and a silicone tag silencer eliminates distracting jingle noises, keeping your pet focused during walks. Crafted in a stylish Basalt Gray shade and sized for 11 to 14-inch neck circumferences, this escape-proof training collar provides complete safety, comfort, and control.

  1. Measure your dog's neck around the widest section to ensure an accurate 11 to 14-inch fit.
  2. Adjust the webbing slider for a snug but comfortable fit.
  3. For limited-cinch training control, clip your leash directly to the stainless steel O-ring on the chain section.
  4. For everyday non-cinch walking or play, attach your leash to the anodized aluminum V-ring.
  5. Attach your dog's ID tags to the separate tag attachment loop using the silicone silencer to prevent jingle noise.

FAQs

How does a martingale dog collar prevent escaping?

A martingale collar uses a limited-cinch design that tightens slightly around a dog's neck when they pull backward. This tightening prevents the collar from slipping over the dog's head without choking or causing discomfort.

Can the Ruffwear Chain Reaction collar be used for daily non-training walks?

Yes, it features two leash attachment options. You can attach your leash to the aluminum V-ring to use it as a standard non-cinch collar, or to the stainless steel O-ring for martingale control.

What size dog fits an 11 to 14 inch collar?

An 11 to 14-inch collar typically fits small dog breeds or puppies with a neck measurement within that specific range. Always measure your dog's neck carefully before selecting a size.

Is this imported Ruffwear collar authentic when purchased from Dropy India?

Yes, Dropy sources authentic pet gear directly from trusted US distributors to ensure genuine quality and craftsmanship for Indian pet owners.

Does the chain on this collar rust or stain dog fur?

No, the chain section is constructed from premium rust-resistant stainless steel designed to hold up against outdoor elements and wet weather conditions without staining.
