Product details

The Ruffwear Hi and Light Dog Collar is a minimalist, featherlight collar engineered for high-energy dogs and outdoor trail running. Built with durable polyester webbing inspired by climbing gear, this ultralight collar eliminates excess bulk and weight, letting active dogs move naturally without drag during fast pursuits.

Designed for daily adventures and rigorous trail sessions, it features a secure ITW Nexus Mach 1 side-release buckle with micro-adjustability to ensure a snug fit that stays put without slipping mid-run. An anodized aluminum D-ring provides a strong and reliable leash attachment point, while integrated reflective trim enhances low-light visibility during early morning or evening jogs.

Equipped with a dedicated Quick Ring tag attachment and a built-in silicone tag silencer, this collar stops metallic jingling so pets stay quiet and focused on the trail. Ideal for active pet parents seeking authentic USA imported gear, this collar combines sleek aesthetics, long-lasting comfort, and dependable outdoor performance.

FAQs

Are Ruffwear collars waterproof?

While Ruffwear collars are not technically classified as 100% waterproof, they are built with quick-drying materials designed for outdoor performance. The lightweight polyester webbing dries rapidly after exposure to water, rain, or mud, making it suitable for wet trail conditions.

How do I know what size dog collar to get?

Measure the circumference of your dog's neck where a collar would naturally rest using a flexible tape measure. Choose a size range that places your dog's measurement comfortably in the middle, and ensure you can fit two fingers between the collar and their neck for a safe, comfortable fit.

What size collar for a Golden Retriever?

Most adult Golden Retrievers typically fit into a Large size collar (20 inches to 26 inches). However, because neck sizes vary individually, it is always recommended to measure your dog's neck before purchasing.

Is this Ruffwear Hi and Light collar authentically imported from the USA?

Yes, Dropy sources authentic USA-imported Ruffwear products directly. Indian pet owners receive 100% original, brand-new pet gear shipped safely to their doorstep.

How should I clean the Ruffwear Hi and Light Dog Collar?
