Product details

Indian summers can be exceptionally harsh on pets, making outdoor exercise a challenge. The Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Dog Vest offers an advanced solution for active canines prone to overheating during walks, hikes, and training sessions. Designed specifically to beat intense heat, this high-coverage cooling vest utilizes innovative three-layer evaporative cooling technology to mimic a refreshing lake dip.

The light-colored outer layer reflects solar radiation and shades your pet, while the absorbent middle layer stores water for prolonged cooling relief. A comfortable inner mesh lining keeps your pup dry and comfortable against their skin. This premium dog vest features a relaxed fit with UPF 50 plus sun protection, side-release buckles for hassle-free on and off, and an integrated leash portal that fits seamlessly over major harness styles.

It is an essential premium accessory for pet parents across India looking to keep their dogs safe, comfortable, and active all summer long.

  1. Simply soak the vest in cold water, wring out the excess moisture, and fasten it onto your dog using the side-release buckles.
  2. When the vest dries during extended outdoor activities, simply pour more water onto it to reactivate and recharge the evaporative cooling technology.

Outer Layer: Polyester air mesh fabric. Middle Layer: Polyester non-woven felt core. Lining: Hydrophobic polyester mesh lining. Buckles: ITW Nexus Mach 1 side-release buckles. Trim: Polypropylene webbing and reflective accents.

    Superb quality & efficiency

This is an excellent cooling vest & much better quality than other makes, but unfortunately it didn't fit my dog properly & was too big with the chest belly strap far too long, which sagged even when fully tightened. My Border Collie has a neck size of size Medium but her chest is just into size Large. I did find the Ruffwear Swamp zip cooling vest fitted her much better. This however, is a very nice, superb quality cooling vest. I have the swamp neck gaiter too which is brilliant & wouldn't be without. The swamp range really does hold the moisture superbly & are very lightweight. They are expensive, but worth every penny. My advice is buy the Swamp range products rather than any others. Invest wisely for your fur baby & buy the best.

    Works exactly as stated!!

I am thrilled w/this swamp cooler dog vest! My sweet little 5 yr old rescue from MX sadly has advanced stage 3 CKD from his first yr in MX. We live in the desert SW (Tucson, AZ) where it's still 100 degrees at 7:00 pm which is the latest we can take him out before dark. He's used to going to a mountain park for a very short poo walk and then a visit with his little friends under a covered Ramada. His CKD made that dangerous and impossible in this heat but tonight (nearly 100 degrees) we took our short poo walk and had our 30 minute ramada visit with his little friends with no panting at all! I'm so very thankful I can give this to my best buddy in the world again! He is so happy! Thank you Ruffwear! And it's still wet when we get home! I do cool off the car before I put him in the car before we drive to the park and before we drive home but this is only because he has CKD. I don't put the vest on while he's in the car. Worked exactly as I had hoped but better than I expected!

Keeps our dog in the game!

Wanted to give it a good run for the money before I wrote this. We are several hikes in with a black, furry dog and it absolutely saves the day! She's so much more comfortable with this on. Went from dragging to romping after 6 miles of a 9 mile hike at elevation.Love this vest. It's easy to carry when it's dry so we can pull it out as the day heats up. It's just the right piece of equipment to keep your dog from over heating. So glad we have it!
