Product details

The Ruffwear Web Reaction Dog Collar in Basalt Gray is a reliable limited-cinch martingale collar engineered specifically for dogs that tend to back out or slip out of traditional neckwear. Featuring a convenient side-release buckle, this collar combines the safety of an escape-proof design with easy on-and-off application for daily outdoor walks and training sessions.

Crafted with colorfast and long-wearing Tubelok polyester webbing, the collar integrates reflective threading to enhance visibility during low-light conditions. The hardware includes an anodized aluminum V-ring for secure lead attachment, along with a separate ID attachment point equipped with a silicone tag silencer to eliminate noise during exercise. Designed for neck sizes measuring 14 to 17 inches, it provides a safe, anti-slip fit while delivering gentle correction on the leash.

  1. Adjust the collar to fit your dog's neck, ensuring a comfortable fit where two fingers can slip underneath.
  2. Unbuckle the side-release latch to put on or remove the collar.
  3. Clip the leash to the aluminum V-ring to engage the limited-cinch martingale feature during walks.

FAQs

How does a martingale dog collar work?

A martingale collar features a limited-cinch loop that gently tightens when a dog pulls or attempts to back out. This prevents the collar from slipping off over the head while ensuring it does not choke the pet when properly fitted.

What size dog fits a 14 to 17 inch collar?

A 14 to 17 inch collar is suitable for medium-sized dog breeds with neck circumferences within that range. Always measure your dog's neck at the base before selecting a size.

Can the Ruffwear Web Reaction Collar be left on unattended?

It is generally recommended to use martingale collars during supervised walks and training rather than leaving them on unattended, as loops can catch on furniture or foliage.

Are Ruffwear products sold on Dropy authentic USA imports?

Yes, all Ruffwear products available on Dropy are authentic USA imports sourced directly from authorized suppliers to ensure genuine quality for pet parents in India.

How do you clean the Tubelok webbing collar?
