Product details

The Ruffwear Web Reaction Dog Collar in River Rock Green (20 to 23 Inches) provides a reliable, humane solution for dogs prone to slipping out of standard flat collars. Engineered with a limited-cinch martingale webbing loop, this collar gently tightens when tension is applied to the leash, stopping escape artists while preventing choking. Designed for everyday walking, training, and outdoor adventures, it features a convenient side-release buckle that allows easy attachment and removal without altering fit settings.

Crafted from durable, colorfast Tubelok webbing, this collar includes integrated reflective threads for enhanced visibility during low-light evening walks. Dedicated design features include an anodized aluminum V-ring for secure leash attachment, a separate ID tag loop, a Quick Ring for easy tag updates, and a silicone tag silencer to reduce annoying jingling.

  1. Unclip the side-release buckle and place the collar around your dog's neck.
  2. Fasten the buckle securely and adjust the sliding tri-glides so that two fingers can fit comfortably between the neck and the main collar strap.
  3. Clip your leash directly to the anodized aluminum V-ring.
  4. Hand wash in mild detergent and air dry when dirty.

FAQs

What is the best collar for a dog escaping?

A limited-cinch martingale collar, like the Ruffwear Web Reaction, is widely considered the best solution for dogs that pull backward out of standard collars. It provides gentle, limited tightening under leash tension to keep the collar secure without choking.

Do vets recommend martingale collars?

Yes, veterinarians and professional dog trainers often recommend martingale collars for escape-prone dogs or breeds with necks wider than their heads. Their limited-cinch action prevents slipping while preventing neck strain.

Are Ruffwear collars waterproof?

While Tubelok webbing is quick-drying, colorfast, and highly water-resistant for wet weather and outdoor adventures, it is woven nylon fabric rather than fully waterproof rubber or TPU coated material.

Is this product an authentic import available in India through Dropy?

Yes, Dropy sources authentic USA-imported Ruffwear products directly from official distributors in the United States, guaranteeing 100% genuine pet gear delivered safely within India.

How do I measure my dog for a 20 to 23 inch collar?

Measure around the middle of your dog's neck using a flexible measuring tape where a collar would naturally sit. Ensure the measurement falls within the 20 to 23 inch range for proper fit.
