The best fit yet for my Frenchie.

I brought this June 2023 in small for my Frenchie. So nearly 2 years ago, been washed in machine at least 4 times, washes well.Easy drys. Fits really well on my dog, plenty of room if needed for adjustments, which are easy to do. Never any signs had it this harness on after walks, like marks on soft parts of legs. Great fit for Frenchies. I have it in red, no real signs of fading or fraying, really well made, worth money Harness. Used at least twice a day for walking and in car rides. I use it with another great product for the car, Mighty Paw Dog Headrest Car Seat Belt £18, that goes around headrest strong, easy to use heavy duty clips onto the harness. With the Dropy Basics Dog Car Seat, Pet Car Booster Bucket, Large £60, my dog loves the car seat, car see all and stays put in it. All these 3 products together i would recommend, easy, strong and safe.

Perfect Fit & Zero Fuss - My Dog Actually Loves This Harness!

I couldn't be happier with the Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness-this has been a total win for both me and my dog.The fit is absolutely perfect (I got the X-Small), and it's clear this harness was designed with comfort in mind. My dog usually fusses with new gear, but she didn't mind this at all-in fact, she seemed comfortable right away. No rubbing, no irritation, just a secure and lightweight feel that doesn't restrict her movement. The padding is soft but durable, and the adjustable straps made it super easy to get the right fit. I also love the dual leash clips-especially the front clip for training and better control during walks. It's made a noticeable difference. The reflective trim is a great bonus for early morning or evening walks, adding an extra layer of safety. And the Basalt Gray color looks clean and stylish.Overall, this harness checks every box: comfort, quality, functionality, and style. If you're looking for a reliable everyday harness your dog will actually enjoy wearing, this is it. Great for nosework also!

Well designed harness for the active, little dog

Perfect harness for our 20lb beagle. Sturdy and well-built, without being overly bulky and heavy. The design feels secure, while leaving him with full freedom of movement for his active, outdoorsy life. Highly recommend.

Best Harness!!! Love the Blue Pool color!!!

I bought these for my two male Shiba Inu, they both weigh around 22 lbs so I bought the Small in the Blue Pool color, and the color is gorgeous!. This harness is excellent quality and fits them perfectly. There are a few negatives of this harness I want to mention though. They fit really tightly over the head and so my shiba's will duck and weave when I try to put it on them. They tolerate this harness but they don't love this harness. Another negative is that these harnesses are not easy to adjust at all. Like all harnesses you have to make sure you adjust them so they fit not too tight and not to loose. The other negative is that Ruff Wear doesn't carry them in many colors. Ruff Wear also has the WebMaster harness which is escape proof because it has two belly straps, but they really don't have any pretty colors. I have also introduced my Shiba's to the Julius K9 IDC harness and WOW! What a game changer! Now they sit patiently smiling and let me slip this harness on. It is so fast and easy I am just shocked and happy how easy it is to put on and off. And it looks super cute on them too! I also tried the Joy Ride Harness on them and they hated it. It is not comfortable at all. The straps are scratchy and the belly buckle is huge and rubs them directly on the back of their front legs! Joy Ride harnesses come in a lot more pretty colors but the quality of their product is awful! I returned the Joy Ride Harnesses. I really wish Julius K9 harnesses came in as many colors as the Joy Ride does. That said, I highly recommend the Julius K9 harness if you have a Shiba Inu. Another great harness that my male Shiba love is the Comfort Flex Harness. They sit patiently smiling when I put the Comfort Flex Harness on too!I also have a female Shiba Inu and she is a classic escape artist and I keep her in the Ruff Wear Front Range.

FAQs

What are the differences between our Ruffwear dog harnesses?

Ruffwear offers several harness styles designed for specific activities. The Front Range is an all-around everyday padded harness with dual leash clips ideal for general walking and training. Models like the Flagline offer additional handle support for lifting, while the Hi & Light focuses on an ultra-lightweight design for running.

How do I choose the correct size for my dog?

Measure around the widest part of your dog's rib cage or chest girth. The Large/X-Large size is designed for dogs with a girth measurement between 32 to 42 inches (81 to 107 cm). If your dog falls between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Can this harness be used to prevent pulling?

Yes, the harness features a reinforced webbing loop on the chest panel. Attaching your leash to the front loop helps gently redirect your dog's momentum toward you whenever they pull, aiding in leash training without causing neck strain.

Is this Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness an authentic imported product in India?

Yes, Dropy India sources genuine, original Ruffwear products directly from the USA. You receive authentic, high-quality gear for your pet backed by international standards.

How should I clean and maintain the harness?

Hand wash the harness in cold water using a mild detergent. Secure all buckles before washing, and allow the harness to air dry completely in a shaded area away from direct heat sources.

Most orders arrive in 15–20 days: we source each product directly from the USA, check it at our Navi Mumbai warehouse and pack it on video. Items marked Dropy Express ship from our India warehouse and arrive in 3–5 days.
