Product details

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness in Spring Mountains is an all-day, adventure-ready padded harness designed for optimal comfort and effortless control during daily walks and outdoor training. Crafted for dogs with a small chest girth, this lightweight yet durable harness features foam-padded strips along the chest and belly to ensure balanced load distribution and prevent chafing during extended wear.

It provides ultimate versatility with dual leash attachment points: an aluminum V-ring centered on the back for routine walks and reinforced webbing at the chest to gently redirect pullers. With four points of adjustment, your dog gets a custom fit allowing a full range of natural motion.

Integrated reflective trim enhances visibility in low-light conditions, while a quiet ID pocket securely stores dog tags.

  1. Unbuckle the harness straps and slip the neck opening over your dog's head.
  2. Pass the chest piece between the front legs and secure the side buckles on both sides of the girth.
  3. Adjust all four adjustment points evenly to ensure a snug, comfortable fit where two fingers can slip between the harness and your pet.
  4. Attach the leash to the back V-ring for standard walks or to the front chest loop for no-pull training.

Ripstop polyester shell fabric, closed-cell foam padding, polyester webbing straps, anodized aluminum V-ring, and heavy-duty plastic buckles.

FAQs

How do I choose the correct size for the Ruffwear Front Range Harness?

Measure around the widest part of your dog's rib cage or chest girth using a soft tape measure. The Small size is designed to fit dogs with a chest girth of 22 to 27 inches (56 to 69 cm). If your pet falls between sizes, select the larger size for a better fit.

How do I fit and adjust the Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness?

Unbuckle the side straps and slide the harness over your dog's head. Fasten the buckles around the torso and adjust the four adjustment straps evenly until the harness fits snugly. You should easily be able to slide two fingers underneath the straps.

Is the Ruffwear Front Range Harness suitable for dogs that pull?

Yes, it is specifically designed with two leash attachment points. The reinforced webbing loop on the front chest allows you to redirect dogs that pull on the leash, while the aluminum V-ring on the back is ideal for relaxed daily walks.
