Product details

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness in Red Canyon XX-Small is an everyday padded harness built for comfortable walking, running, and outdoor adventures. Designed specifically for smaller dogs with a chest girth of 13 to 17 inches, this gear balances lightweight durability with superior load distribution across the chest and belly. The shell features a sturdy 300-denier polyester ripstop outer layer backed by a breathable recycled polyester mesh lining.

Ideal for everyday dog owners and pet trainers, this harness addresses pulling and directional control through two reinforced leash attachment points: an aluminum V-ring centered on the back for casual strolls and reinforced webbing on the chest to gently redirect pullers. Four convenient adjustment points ensure a snug fit and full range of motion without restricting movement. Integrated safety features include high-visibility reflective trim, a light loop for attaching safety lights, and a quiet ID tag pocket to store your pet's identification tags safely.

  1. Unbuckle the side buckles and slip the harness over your dog's head.
  2. Pass the chest panel between the front legs and secure the buckles on both sides.
  3. Adjust the four adjustment straps evenly until you can fit two fingers comfortably between the harness and your dog's body.
  4. Attach the leash to the back V-ring for everyday walks or the front chest loop for training.

300-Denier Polyester Ripstop Shell, Closed-Cell Foam Padding, Recycled Polyester Mesh Lining, Anodized Aluminum V-Ring, Nylon Webbing.

FAQs

Is the Ruffwear dog harness good?

Yes, Ruffwear dog harnesses are widely recognized for their durability, ergonomic design, and safety features. The Front Range harness provides balanced load distribution, two leash attachment options, and padded support, making it an excellent choice for both training and everyday walks.

Which ruffwear harness is best?

The Front Range Harness is considered the best overall choice for everyday walking, casual hiking, and no-pull training. For specialized activities like technical hiking or lifting support, models like the Flagline or Web Master are often preferred.

Why do dog trainers not recommend harnesses?

Some trainers advise against standard back-clip harnesses because they can trigger a dog's opposition reflex, encouraging them to pull harder. However, harnesses with front-clip attachments, such as the Ruffwear Front Range, are recommended by trainers to redirect pulling effectively without straining the neck.

Is this Ruffwear Front Range Harness an authentic USA import in India?

Yes, this Ruffwear Front Range Harness is 100% authentic and imported directly from the USA. Dropy sources genuine products to ensure Indian pet owners receive official brand quality and performance.

How do I choose the correct size for my dog?

Measure your dog's chest girth around the widest part of the ribcage. The XX-Small size fits a chest girth of 13 to 17 inches (33 to 43 centimeters). If your dog falls between sizes, it is recommended to choose the larger size for maximum comfort.
