Product details

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness in Coastal Mountains offers exceptional daily comfort and control for active pets. Designed for versatile outdoor training and everyday walking, this lightweight harness features foam-padded chest and belly panels that evenly distribute load during exercise. Dual leash attachment points provide customized handling options, including an aluminum V-ring centered on the back for regular strolls and reinforced front chest webbing to discourage pulling.

Four adjustment points ensure a secure, full-range-of-motion fit for your dog. Additionally, low-light reflective trim enhances visibility, while a silent ID tag pocket prevents tag rattling. Ideal for pet parents seeking reliable USA-imported gear for small dog breeds.

  1. Unbuckle the harness side straps and slip the neck opening over your dog's head.
  2. Bring the chest panel between the front legs and secure the buckles on both sides.
  3. Adjust all four straps symmetrically until snug, ensuring you can comfortably fit two fingers between your dog and the harness straps.

Nylon shell fabric, closed-cell foam padding, polyester lining, aluminum V-ring, and ITW Nexus side-release buckles.

FAQs

How do I measure my dog for an X-Small Ruffwear Front Range Harness?

Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage right behind the front legs using a soft tape measure. The Extra Small size fits a chest girth between 17 to 22 inches (43 to 56 cm).

How does the front leash attachment help with pulling?

Attaching the leash to the reinforced front chest loop gently turns your dog back toward you when they pull forward. This natural feedback redirects momentum without placing stress on the dog's neck.

Is the Ruffwear Front Range Harness suitable for everyday walks?

Yes, it is designed specifically for everyday walks, hiking, and active outdoor training. The padded panels provide all-day comfort while durable nylon construction ensures long-lasting performance.
